(I know there are previous threads on this issues but they're from afew years ago and not sure if things have changed, and this might be of benefit to others. Also the search function isnt great!)

I am signing off and was wondering how long does the process take?

My money goes in on a Tuesday but I collect it on Thursday

If I sign off tomorrow (Monday) will that be it or would I have to go into PO on Thursday to see?

I would prefer a quick swift divorce if at all possible!

As soon as you sign off, you are free to go. You get an instant divorce. They pay you all outstanding money onto your bank account if you wish.

If you have a MyGovID set up you should be able to do it all online.

Is it any different with Disability Allowance, is it any more complicated or does it take longer?
