I am wondering just how strict Emerald Airlines are with carry-on cabin bags?

My standard cabin bag is just a fraction outside their official limits for size (and possibly weight!)

Would be great to hear from anyone with recent experience of Emerald.

The problem is their overhead storage bins are smaller than a regular aircraft. You'd get away with a little taller but not necessarily width or depth.

My main concern with Emerald is how often the flights run late, be careful if you need to be somewhere on time. The staff I have encountered are lovely, but the space onboard is limited.
