I recently picked up a 1968 Seamaster and I love it. It keeps decent time, but seems to run down pretty quickly when not worn (like, less than 12 hours). Maybe I'm just being too timid about winding it. Not that big of a deal but it got me to thinking about if, when and where I should get it serviced.

Keanes in Cork are the nearest official Omega place to me but I don't know if they would do something like that in-house or just send it off. Has anyone any positive experience of getting older Omegas serviced? What's the turnaround time like?
