    Hi all,

Was involved in a car accident the other day with the kids.

All the kids are in booster seats. Just wondering if they should be replaced after the accident? Cant visually see anything wrong with the seats. Reading online, some places saying that they should be replaced after any accident, and some people saying theyd have to be replaced. Normal baby seats i always knew to be replaced, but booster seats I'm not sure.

Would this be covered by the other persons insurance also if they'd need replacing?

    Thanks

If other party at fault this will be covered under there insurance.

Wife crashed a few years ago and new seats were covered under her own insurance to a certain value (200?), she was at fault

The booster seat manufacturer are likely just covering themselves. If the airbags or seatbelt tensioners didn't go off, and you're able to type this today, the crash almost certainly wasn't bad enough to damage a booster seat.
