Anyone experiencing problems with Yahoo Email access?

I'm having problems - not everytime but still fairly frequent(for the last month or more) trying to my yahoo email account. It can happen day or night. After signing in with my email address I see a message saying try again in an hour.Sometimes I get as far as putting in my password before the same message appears.Happening this afternoon from 2.00pm I'm thinking of calling Yahoo in Dublin to ask why the intermittent service.I read somewhere about servers being taken down by Yahoo/Verizon in some countries.
