As always with this type of question, first you'll need to confirm if your employer pays the retailer directly or if they use a company to facilitate the scheme (eg. biketowork or cyclescheme). If the later I doubt ribble would have any interest in dealing with an Irish middleman/voucher scheme, they do allow UK schemes if your company happen to be UK based https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/cycle-schemes/.

If your company are willing to facilitate the scheme themselves then there's no reason you couldn't put an invoice through. Keep in mind Ribble do not apply EU vat so that will be a cost on top of the price you see when ordering.

I did on my last bike to work scheme. This was before brexit though. My company paid for the bike directly and I then paid the difference back to the company straight away. They then deducted the €1000 over 12 months off my salary.

Since brexit you will now have to pay VAT and 14% import duty when the bike lands here. I was looking at a new Ribble endurance sl not so long ago but found the price to be not attractive anymore.

Also looking around for n+1 (when am I not!), but noticed a lot of UK companies still listed on the Revenue/ OGP supplier list.

Are there EU equivalents of the likes of Ribble and Planet X that anyone is aware of?

Not sure I'd have Canyon as a planet x equivalent! Pity Rose aren't on the bike to work list from what I can see.

Rose were great but recent reports are they are difficult to get a bike over here the past while.

I got a Rose Pro SL in the Spring on bike to work. Granted I was a contractor at the time so could just submit the expenses, but no issue with delivery.

Not sure when it was, a few were looking at mine at races and saying they had tried but couldn't get delivery to here, but I didn't ask any further.

Well after this thread I was having a look at feck all "in stock" in the Backroad anyway!

Has anyone ordered from Ribble lately? I'm in the market for a winter bike and they've sent me a 20% discount code, so just wondering what their delivery times are like

Only thing I can add is I was looking at Planet X and Ribble this week. Planet X seem to have customs handling, whereas Ribble leaving it as Tax off. In my limited experience customs handling is better?

Did you get a code because you’ve bought from them before ?
