Annual Wexford - Dublin Bus Eireann ticket

Currently on an annual Irish Rail ticket which is great but the Bus Eireann one is nearly half the price, and 2/3 the price of the Wexford Bus one. Is it packed every day is my main question as Bus Eireann doesn't seem to have the ability to reserve seats like you can with Irish Rail or Wexford Bus. And how to schedule is…

The train is great because with rare exception it is on time, is the bus as reliable. Really only concerned for going up rather than returning.
