The Public Beta of iOS 17 is out, who's going to be brave enough to install?

Have used the Developer Beta since day one. Have no problems with any of the apps (except a certain gentleman's app *cough*), so comfortable to say it's worth the update!

Ah, now you mention it, I've found that when I've converting currencies the confirmation button appears behind the keyboard and you can't get rid of it

Installed last night, love nightstand.

The keyboard in "messages" isnt uniform across all apps, which is annoying.

I do like the new predictive keyboard, it learns very quickly!

I installed iPad OS17 on my 2019 iPad Pro and wanted to erase it again, but it seems very hard to revert to OS16 again. 😐️ I have turned off the Beta toggle again, but still on 17. Connected to my Mac but can't get the iPad into recovery mode to try and revert to 16. Any help appreciated folks.

I had to restore my iPad for the same reason you gave!

It's very fiddly, but I did get it to work using this as a guide: https://support.apple.com/en-ie/HT212787

In the restoration process I got an error message saying that it hadn't worked. But it had! So I don't think the process is fool proof

Been on the public beta for the last 3-4.

Really enjoying it, hopefully it gets a little smoother as the releases draw closer to the GM.

Have to say I’m pleasantly surprised to see that battery life has improved on 12PM since updating yesterday and also WiFi problem has also fixed itself

Are the “Siri” configurable options coming later? I’m still only seeing “Hey Siri” under ask Siri after upgrading to IOS17 and it’s not adjustable for me either.

Well it does need to be enabled from Siri & Search/Ask Siri - there should be configurable options there but I'm still only seeing the same 'Listen for Hey Siri' with a toggle and nothing else.

Ah I found out why it's not appearing - it's not yet available for all languages; Siri on mine was set to English (Ireland); changing it to English (United Kingdom) for instance enables the configurable options. I wish Apple had made this more clear.
