Flea and worm treatment for ex-feral 1-year-old cats

    Afternoon

Just wondering if there is anyone there who might know of a way to treat cats for the above? They will just about let us rub them when there's food around but otherwise we can't get near them. We're thinking it will take at least a year to 'tame' them, but in the meantime we are starting to notice flea bites.

Are all flea treatments topical or are there any that can be ingested like a tablet (which we could then crush up and put in their food)?

    TIA

There are some oral flea/tick medications available, off the top of my head Credelio is one available through vets!
