Renault Megane 2018 - Check Anti-Pollution System Light

    Hi Folks,

The car is a 2018 Megane Mk4 estate with the 1.6 130bhp engine. Mileage is 70,000kms.

Hoping someone here has had the same issue as had this light initially come on on the way back from a 260km round trip.

The fuel light came on and it said I had 80kms left, I pulled into the nearest garage around 40kms away and filled the tank. After driving down the road for about 5 mins an engine management light came on and the message came up "check anti-pollution system".

I had it booked in for a service two weeks later and it got a full service and the mechanic said it was a fault with a sensor and cleared the warning, gave everything a good check over and said there was no issues.

The light came back on there again and mechanic reckons it could be a fuel pressure sensor from when the tank got low but can't be sure. I've been googling into this exact warning but I am only finding issues with the previous model (mk3 meganes, grand scenics) and Kadjars but nobody seems to have gotten it fixed on any of the posts I have seen, they said it could be DPF / Exhaust Flaps / Injectors - does that sound right?

The car is used for local use but gets a good spin to dublin once a week and then once a month I have to do a 260km trip for work which is 90% motorway. There was an issue with one of the TPMS constantly flashing up but I checked the tire pressure, and reset it myself and that has gone away. Can I or should I be doing the same here?

It's driving perfect, and I can't see any issues. Has anyone else had this issue?

That warning is literally just renaults version of an engine light, its not specific to any particular fault. The code needs scanning and can be fixed from there.
