The documentary about this case is excellent (available on channel 4 - Catching a killer, a diary from the grave) highly recommend.

But this drama version could be worth a watch very strong cast and Sarah Phelps involved.

I have only watched episode 1 so I can't say really. But I would recommend the doc.

I don't know how close to real events it was as I honestly can't remember the case.

However I watched all the episodes. I found it extremely well done. It was very sad , there may have been a few tears while watching it.

100% well worth checking out a recent film called Lakelands, I am guessing not too many saw it (I was at a quiet screening in the savoy) he is terrific in the lead.
