    Im trying to get my granddaughter to read but she refuses saying its boring.

    I dont think its for want of a good book.

    Without you saying it - she loves her phone, and books dont compete.

    Quite simply - like that great line in The Wire - you want it to be one way.... but its the other way.

    Your best bet might be audio books.
