Hi there, i am thinking of visiting Lahinch next year and was looking at staying in a house here, but i am led to believe the estate is very run-down and nearly derelict...with some of the houses in very poor condition.

Has anyone any information?

Someone i know was staying near hand and took a drive over one of the days, and came back with this information that it was very run down, like poorly kept student accommodation etc, blinds hanging off windows etc. I couldn't understand as the reviews for the houses on AIRB&B are very good.
