Hi all, would someone recommend a family car with large boot (capable of taking a double buggy)

Wife has rules out estates and people carriers. So I think I'm limited to large SUVs. Budget is 20k.

    How many kids have ye?

Is there a reason she's ruled oud estates? Has she actually driven them.

2 kids under 3. Need the double buggy another 2 years. Don't do a lot of mileage.

She hates estates because of the look, I would go with an estate because it ticks all the boxes but we share the car. We test drove a couple of SUVs because of the boot space, but have no idea really so was hoping to narrow it down to 2 or 3.

If you only have 2 kids and dont plan on having number 3, any decent sized large car should suit.

The skodas above are good suggestions as they are both hatchbacks which gives good access to the boot. Ford Mondeo also maybe. The boot in many SUVs can be small enough compared to their overall size.
