Tractor question

Hello there , I was wondering if someone might be able to comment on a particular tractor

thinking of buying a beautiful Fiat 450 ( 1976 ) , I would use it on the bog and bring it to the odd show perhaps ( I’ve two acres at the back of the house and a shed so I have place to store )

price is 8500 , I have heard that older Fiat tractors are rust prone ?

Yes, they were rust prone....But you describe this one as beautiful, so I'm assuming it isn't rusty. If it's in good shape, and kept indoors apart from occasional use it might have a good chance of maintaining it's beauty....

Do you know anything about it's history? There's a good chance it got some kind of makeover if it's looking good. The quality of the work that went into it would have a lot of bearing on how well it will wear going forward....

Arguably the best tractors ever produced.

Engine, drive train & brakes better than almost all other makes of tractors.

A bit odd seen as the Fiat cars were ****

Had heard Fiat tractors were very good overall but just wondered if the older smaller models were on a par with MF 35 etc ? , this is more expensive than a 35 but I suppose it’s going to be dearer due to being a lot less common?
