Sky Fibre Optic Broadband

    So we're getting sky fibre optic broadband in in about 10 days. We'll have it for the internet and landline too. I just wanted to be sure there's no unexpected surprises with it. Also, I'd just like to be sure that it's got nothing to do with 5G... am I right?

    Who cares if it did (it doesn't) have anything to do with 5G.

    Some ppl interpret "5G" differently, due to misleading naming of SSID as 5G instead 5GHz on most latest routers.

    Just because people laugh at me when I say I'm sceptical about 5G radiation is not going to make me change my mind.

    Although 5G and 5Ghz are different things if you are genuinely sceptical then you should be avoiding both.

    You can turn the 5gz wifi off on the sky router and have 2.4gz only.

    You might have issues though if you want to connect a sky q tv box wirelessly to it. I think it requires it to be 5gz.

    This was just what I noticed when setting it up at my parents house. I didn't deep dive into a solution cause I wired it to sky box instead.
