I have always got this payment in previous years as we get working family payment weekly. I rang btscfa about it & they said I should automatically get it this year again. I never received the letter to say I was going to receive it? So I presume I need to apply for it?? I feel I shouldn’t have to do this, more hassle 🤔

Have you checked MyWelfare? Says here that letters will be issued to MyWelfare accounts.

    Payments won't issue until July

Yes. It is a means-tested payment

    Of course.

    It’s a means tested payment.

It’s for people who need financial help to buy school clothes shoes and supplies for their children returning to school.

Even without your savings, your combined income per week is in excess of what’s considered “in need” for a family your size in regard to BTSCFA.
