Foam between bolted panels

    Hi all

I'm carrying out a restoration of a Pininfarina design cab on an tractor.

There are a number of panels bolted together that have a type of foam between them. I'm assuming it's both water and sound proof.

Can anyone identify what the foam is or what to put in it's place when refitting the panels?

    Thanks
