Dublin tennis courts that aren’t astroturf

Seems the tennis community in Ireland is starting to realise that fast, low-bouncing astroturf might not be the best for aspiring professionals or casual players. Here’s a partial list of alternatives. Can anyone add any?

    Indoor

    National Tennis Centre

    Fitzwilliam

    Riverview

    Westwood - Leopardstown, Clontarf

    Shankill

    Grass

    Elm Park

    Railway Union, Sandymount

    Stratford, Rathmines

    Carrickmines

    Grove, Malahide

    Clay

    National Tennis Centre

    Fitzwilliam

    De Vesci, Monkstown

    Rockfield, Beaumont

Not sure if it'll actually happen but Shankill are talking about putting a couple of clay courts in too.

I see Carrickmines has three indoor courts and has recently converted one outdoor court to clay – making it the only club in Dublin (Ireland?) with all three ATP Tour surfaces.

Elm Park has two clay courts.

Indoor at castleknock and malahide have clay courts now.

Thanks for that. Impressive facility in Castleknock…

And I see Malahide plan to cover their other courts.

This sudden rush of building is interesting and welcome. There’s an article online showing that Ireland has a quarter of the indoor courts per capita of many European countries, which seems incredible given our inclement weather conditions (although the UK was similarly low).

Sutton also has clay courts. Was really surprised that Castleknock didn't put in some clay courts.

Thanks for the additions. Advance of the clay court is happening apace.
