We're actively working to add some new bodies to the mod ranks, so at this time we've got 3 new victims mods to announce.

@Podge_irl, @CIARAN_BOYLE and @Cookiemunster have agreed to join the pack!

    Thanks lads for helping out.

    Welcome aboard, lads!

Enjoy the off-season, but a solid pre-season will put ye in a great place for the RWC. 😉

P.S. thank you all for donating your time to this. At a time when the spikeyness of the Internet appears at an all time high, moderatorship by volunteers is still the best weapon we have against trolls and hatred.

Hi mods, is there any reason why you can’t be more aggressive banning obvious wind up accounts? The mood is quite toxic in the Ireland thread for example. Maybe a ‘private group forum’ like the soccer forum has might result in a more pleasant atmosphere?

He's rumoured to be living with a previously undiscovered South American Forest tribe where he has become a Hipster God always being into stuff before they become cool.

Folks there might be one or two match threads in the world cup that I'd like to write. Don't have any stake more than anyone else - but we established a rota previously for match threads for the world cup and six nations and I always felt it worked well and created an expectation so the threads themselves were of a good standard starting off.

Any chance we could look at doing the same for the RWC?

Like the idea. Will come back to it.

How long typically for a reported post to be acted upon? Thanks.

It depends on when a mod sees the notification. However not all reported posts are acted on, as the mods may not agree that it is something that requires action.
