    Hi folks..

I am thinking of having heating controls upgrade done in the house..

Boiler is about 30 years old (Grant) heating 10 rads. No control anywhere except on the boiler itself so just on or off.

Note I won't be changing the boiler for now.

I asking if anyone has had the upgrade done and if it was worth applying for grant over getting your own plumber and paying him/her directly..

    Thanks...

You apply for the grant then pay the plumber and get your money back after they have filled in a form. It's a pain in the hole process, at least that's how it was done for ours 11 years ago, maybe its easier now.
