    Howdy Folks,

Bought a steel shed and it leaks in heavy downfall. Bought it of an Irish Company, have gone back a few times but I give up in trying to get some anwhere with them. It's on a 5" concrete base. Would you advise siliconing all the joints (wall to ceiling)? Its also gets heavy condensation, am I better off drilling a load of circular vent holes in it? Any tips or tricks on how to apply a guttering system to it., and to make it as waterproof as possible would be great.

    cheers in advance

A few photos of the problem might help to get

    a good answer.

Yes, this and we need to know where it's leaking (roof/walls/floor). In regards to the condensation, was a DPC put down or how was the floor finished off the 5" base?

Don't silicone anything other than on the outside where it meets the base or you will make condensation worse.

As others have said you need to identify where the water is getting in.

In my case, during heavy rain, it was coming in around the crappy plastic washers that were supplied to put the roof sheets on.

I just replaced them with proper rubber ones like below and had no issues since.

A photo of the outside would help. for gutters you can just use the same self tappers to fix mini-flow gutter system to the walls (preferably along the framing)

make sure you use downspouts and direct the water away from the base.
