Cigarette lighter usb not charging

    Hi all,

    got a new usb charging port for my iPhone that connects through the cigarette lighter port…

    problem is that it’s not charging and instead my phone sees it as an accessory

    can anyone advise on how to get it working as a charger the way it’s meant to

    thanks
