People outside Aldi/Lidl looking to see your receipt, why?

Last couple of times I have visited Aldi there's someone outside asking can they see my receipt when I have finished shopping, well dressed but seem rather aggressive, what's their game? Also seen similar at Lidl before Covid.

I generally assume anyone engaging with me in a public place is up to some sort of a scam that I am not arsed being roped in to so blindly ignore them.

They could just check online if it's a survey or some kind of price comparison.

Collecting points for the app or something?

Maybe chancing their arm looking for a refund on something they've stolen?

My first thought was market/price researchers, but they get a visitor ID and go into the shop.

Give them a Glasgow kiss next time.
