Best time to book flights

    Plan on travelling to Australia next February. Is there any advantage in booking flights far in advance or is there an optimum time?

    Demand is exceeding supply now and is projected to do so well into 2024.

    There is also an uptick in demand for business/ first class, with more seats being allocated to them as planes are being brought back into service after their spell in the desert parking spots, putting more pressures on steerage.

    As the revenue per seat is well ahead of pre covid, some of the long hauls are holding back on bringing all the planes back

    “I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.
