Old Postal Order

I was clearing out some old document folders and found a postal order for €40...... from 2005! Do these expire? I'm guessing they'll laugh me out the door of the bank if I bring it in right?

Ask at post office, I found an old one, but not that old! They could not cash it but gave me an address and I cashed it that way, think they sent a new PO for same value to cash - can't remember exactly, but I got my money.
