The original housing broke on the stitch holes and BOA sent me out a replacement to be stitched by a cobbler. (not pre-drilled)

Anyone had any experience with getting the housings sewn in?

got the housing sewn (and glued) in James Heffernan Shoe Repairs in Galway. (All the other cobblers in Galway wouldnt take the job on). Put new BOA dials in the housing and the shoe is like new again.

Cheers, a lot of repair places won't touch heavy jobs like that in case their machines break.

exactly, some are afraid their needles would get damaged.
