    Hi drumz,

    Nice playing on your videos. Myself and a mate who've been gigging for years are very competent musicians but we don't really want to do ordinary gig stuff. Been there and done all of that. I'm a bassist and have had gigged both with bands and solo with acoustic for a couple of years. Anyway, thankfully don't need the money now and we've just been working on playing interesting stuff that's worthwhile to us. Covering bands like Wings, Joe Jackson, Steely Dan, Elvis Costello, Paul Simon - basically anything that we think is interesting to play. Not looking to gig several times a week - just enjoying getting stuff right and get ourselves a low key gig early in the week somewhere playing tasty stuff. The main thing for us is playing good stuff accurately and enjoying all the nuances of what we play. If you think you might be interested you'd be welcome to come to our studio and have a jam or two and see if you like it? Happy to fire you over links to some numbers if you want to pick out a few to work with. There's no big pressure with this except to enjoy what you're doing and do it well :) We're based in Dublin South.
