Contacts on Apple Watch

I have reset / wiped an iPhone for my other half and it has not been backed up to the iCloud. Previous save is a least four years ago so all is lost . Her entire work contacts (which are significant) are on the her Apple Watch. Is there a way to save these back to an iPhone thanks in advance if anyone can help.

worth logging into iCloud.com and checking if the contacts are there. Might be an option to export them.

also worth checking her email account as contacts may have been saved there.
