Cant be many saxo diesels around Ireland ?

and I know they're no 1.6 petrol versions but still think they're a nice little car.

would one in good nick be worth much money anyone know / be worth minding ?

Great little engine in them and an absolute miser on diesel. If you

have one I'd like to see a picture. The diesel ones never sold well

here at all. In my dream garage I'd a VTS.

Only 51 Saxos presented for in 2022. Fairly thin on the ground now alright. I’m sure they are a few tucked away in garages as well.

much the weekly repayment on them was.

They were very common back then. Plenty of modded ones too in the Max Power days. A clean VTS with low mileage went for about £30,000 at an UK auction last year.

1 owner, 12,000 miles. That's the one to have. I wouldn't/couldn't pay £19,000 for it though.

I really need to get back to work and stop trying to find old Fast French cars I can't afford.

A mate of mine had 2 Saxo VTs' over the years and will forever regret selling his last one. I had a Pug 106 GTi at the same time (essentially the same car) and absolutely loved it. The need for finances forced my hand into selling at the time (getting married and buying a house is expensive). I know I will never replace it now for reasonable money.

I think the diesel Pug 106s were a little more common though. A friend of my mother had one for years and was very upset when it was written off due to a small crash about 15 years ago.
