    currently testing a new antenna.

    Off Centre Fed Dipole.

40m of plastic covered steel clothes line and a 4:1 Balun.

the feed point at the balun is in the corner of my property.

short leg over the house, long leg goes 15m, then 90 degree bend so the whole thing is approx 3 sides of a square.

not much testing, but I've worked a load of Europe on 10, 15 and 20m so far.

    cost?

    under £20

Suppose I should have read your post properly before I asked the question Hi hi... did you make the 4:1 Balun yourself or bought... have wire in the air to my XYLs amazement/disapproval but always room for more 😉

this one was bought, but I've made a few myself.

and I totally understand the XYL disapproval. Mine just shakes her head.....
