Help: External Router requiring Modem Module Firmware Update

    Hi All,

I have an external sim router. The build-in interface was very buggy so I installed OpenWRT. This is up and running but the modem is not picking up the mobile signal. I need to update the modem module firmware using AT commands. This is outside my skillset and would appreciate any assistance.

I have the instructions to do this upgrade but am still struggling. If there is anyone who is knowledgeable using AT commands with modems, I would appreciate your advice. I am willing to compensate for your time and effort.

    Thanking you advance.

What part of the country are you in?

First time I connected to the internet was at 2,400 baud and I'm familiar with openwrt.

I use to regualarly type in Hayes commands over long bits of wire to get equipment to behave!

If you're nearby maybe you can drop over, or if not I might be able to work it out if you take your modem somewhere you can connect it to somebody else's broadband by ethernet.

Send me a PM if you like.
