New laptop for office work

    Hi,

    I'm looking to upgrade my 8 year old laptop and hope some on this forum can help. My last laptop was through PC specialist and this has served me well. I've spotted they have some nice options at the mo but I've not used them since the last time out so not sure how the fare in todays market.....I'll be using it mainly for business and I'd like to future proof a little...main details would be;

    Cost: €800 - 850 mark

    Intended use: General office admin stuff, web development, small scale video dev (not much).....& would like to future proof it a little!

    Tech: Win 10/11, 16GB RAM, +512 SDD, 14" screen (max) touch not needed, Light weight - would prefer a metal touch feel on the case over plastic, Network port would be brilliant to have - though have a workaround if not available....

    Any help would be appreciated.....
