Is there a set timeframe by which Local Authorities must respond to constituent requests/queries

    Anyone know if there are any written guidelines re this? Reason for asking is that my Local Planning Enforcement Dept (PED) do not acknowledge - never mind answer - my requests and the council CEO just kicks my complaints back to PED
