Sealing Gaps in old t n g timber side gate - Quick Fix

Is there any sealant in the cartidge gun form that would do as a quick fix and would actually work well for a while. I'm thinking of a timber sealant of some kind. Sorry I'm mot wording this very well but any advice is very welcome.
