problems with UK revenue

Anyone else recently moved to Ireland had problems getting HMRC in the UK to give them the correct tax code for someone resident in Ireland??

We have now been paying tax in both jurisdictions since 2020!!

Tax advisor says he has submitted forms twice and followed up with emails. Apparently we will get a rebate from HMRC in the great hereafter, but I'm losing the will to live.

I was inclined to blame civil service chaos, working from home and Covid, but it's getting crazy now. I'm a bit scared to dump the advisor in the middle of this nonsense as he seemed to know what he was doing at first and I don't want to add to the chaos.

    Any advice?
