I lost my reading mojo until 2019 and then got back into it. I have to say I've slumped a bit this year too, just can't seem to focus.

So far in 2023, I've read just 14 books.

Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent ****

    Foster by Claire Keegan *****

How To Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie ****

Doneraile Court: The Story of the Lady Freemason by Kathleen Aldworth Foster ***

Life Without Children by Roddy Doyle *

Made in Scotland by Billy Connolly ****

The Wind In The Willows by Kenneth Grahame ***

The Boy From The Woods by Harlan Coben ***

Mrs Cowan's Boy by Rory Cowan ****

This Much Is True by Miriam Margolyes ****

Little Wing by Freya North ****

I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy ****

Call The Midwife by Jennifer Worth ****

Today, I've done that rarest of things and - shock! - abandoned a book. I was struggling with The White Ship by Charles Spenser (yes, the one that is Diana's brother). I persevered to almost half way but it was feeling like a chore rather than enjoyment so I've set it aside. Not for me at all that one.
