Fixing a Pair of Sunglasses That are Too Loose on My Head

I've a pair of sunglasses [Randolph Engineering (left side of first photo)] that fit too loose on my head. The first image shows a comparison to another pair of glasses I have that fit well, and you can see just how much of a difference there is. Now granted this other pair is forced out when put on my head.

Anyway I'm wondering is there any way I could have some material soldered into that gap (as seen in the second image) in order to make them fit tighter? The temple at the top of the photo is somewhat stiff when opening/closing as it should be, but the temple that sticks out further (more than 90 degrees) and also swings wildly. I don't have any phillips screw driver that small though to tighten this. In any case that's not the main problem though... I just want that gap filled up with something so I can reduce the angle enough so that it's tight on my head. Is there anyway I could fix these, or have them fixed?

    Thank you

Forget about soldering something into the gap to close it although it's a valid solution if complicated. Since they're metal frames just hold the stems and bend gently until they're the proper fit. As for the loose hinge you'll need a small screw driver for that alright, would you have anything in a multi kit of bits that would fit? Otherwise just wear the glasses into the likes of Woodies/B&Q and see if anything off the shelf fits to tighten it up on the spot.

Drop into an optometrist {Specsavers} and they should fix it for you.

Get loads of people to compliment you until your head swells up to the appropriate size. The only downside is the other pair will now be too small. If you want to wear those simply get a mirror and take a long hard look at yourself till your head returns to its normal size.

Have you considered a stylish glasses suspender?
