    Posting for a friend who doesn't use boards.

    Do all landlords in Northern Ireland use letting agents only?

    If not, where do private landlords advertise as the likes of propertypal only have letting agents.

    Also would there be any hassle in having a Rep. Ireland car registration parked in a housing estate for the first month or so until they buy a Northern Irish car? He is looking at Newry, Lurgan, Lisburn and Belfast. Would an Irish reg in Bangor or a protestant area be a big deal?

    I have brought cars and a camper up north without hassle but is it different if parked in a housing estate for a few weeks?
