MacBook Air - Broken Screen

My daughter has a MacBook Air 2020 and the screen broke when the device fell. The laptop gets little use but not sure it's worth replacing the screen as it's so expensive.

Firstly any suggestions as to where I might get a replacement screen and roughly how much would it be to have the screen replacement. Apple was looking for around €750 which seems mad if a new MacBook 2020 can be sourced for circa €900.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
