Do the robust steal wire heads fit into electric strimmers? My impression is they only fit petrol Strimmers?

I've electric McGregor strimmer which rotates the wire reel .The wire reel has a hole in middle. That hole sits into a 15mm piece . The casing goes over reel then to hold it in place

In most cases no. Its down to the amount of power the strimmer motor/engine can produce. Its the same with line thickness an electric strimmer will at most use 2mm thick line because it hasn't the power to overcome the air resistance of spinning 3 or 4mm line.

Wake me up when it's all over.
