I see there's mackerel going around Ireland's Eye the last week or so, seem to be plentiful, havn't been out myself yet. Very early for them this year.

Any amount of them after 9pm during high tide on old head pier (louisburgh) last week. They came in and shoaled up (resting?) for a few hours and then moved on. Repeated most nights.

Not a sign of them during the day.
