Anyone know where I might get a Merc transmission repaired?

    Hi folks,

    My 2009 B150 is acting up. “Transmission visit workshop” error on the dash. Driving fine mostly but sometimes losing power or shuddering like it’s picking the wrong gear.

    Local mechanic did a diagnostic.

    error codes:

    0717 TCM transmission control module. RPM signal not available

    00D5 ECM engine control module. Read out fault memory of control unit CVT

    …

    He recommended two different repair centres. The first one isn’t answering the phone or responding to emails and the second one is giving me the run around.

    I’ve messaged a couple of other places and got no reply Mercedes in Castleknock told me they’d want to do their own diagnostic tests but couldn’t do that until July

    Would anyone be able to recommend me a suitable repair shop? According to my mechanic, Merc transmissions are somewhat specialised.

    They share a garage with Automotive Air Conditioning. I think if you give them a call they will answer
