Shower tray is less than 2 years old, can it be fixed or do I just have to replace it ? What sort of costs would be incurred

    Try talking to the installer.

If a tray cracks that early you've serious foundation problems or the person who bed your tray in did not do a proper job. Unless you dropped something on it?? How did it crack?

Yes it can be fixed but it works out very expensive to get it done. Last time I got a tray repaired it was €850. the landlord was delighted with the job as he didn't have to take out the tray, replace the bottom row of tiles and get a new door

yep, that's what I thought as well but he added up the cost of a new tray, fitting a new door and replacing the bottom rowbif tiles it was the cheaper option. the tray was fairly badly damaged to begin with.

if the tray isn't that bad there are kits that can be bought to repair it.

The most expensive part of that deal was a new door, and no reason for that. Old door assuming good, could have easily been reused. Anyway, you got sorted, everyone was a happy with the outcome. Thsts really all that matters 👍
