What is the ratio for mixing whitewash for old farm buildings, and do I add some cement powder to help it adhere to the wall ?

There is no ratio you mix lime putty or slaked lime with water to your preferred consistency. btw a bag of builders lime from the builders merchants is the wrong lime. Do a bit of googling to check what you need and no to the cement.

Wake me up when it's all over.
