Any electricians looking for an field assistant? I'm a mature semi-retired IT project manager who would like to do some hands on work that allows me to get away from looking at screens all day.

I would would need to support a certified installation electrican as I'm not qualified as so would not be able to do any work on live systems. I have electrical understanding and data cabling experience from telecoms technician apprenticship I did many years ago. I could help with greenfield cabling, fitting, sales, parts/materials, H&S, planning, invoicing, collections - in return for a "pre-apprenctice experience" for 3+ months - to see if I could cut it - and then puresue a formal apprenticeship.

Based in North County Dublin, I'm available for from late July onwards, by when I hope to have completed electrical safety training, Safepass, etc.
