Water Pump Issue

    Hi all,

    We have a Aquabox with a submersible pump, Recently we have been having a issue where every time we run a tap the pump with come on and off about 10 times or more just for a short 5 second burst. We got a plumber in and he said the controller was faulty so it was replaced and it has not solved the problem. The aquabox is located in our attic.

    Does anybody have any suggestions as it is driving us mad.

    That's the same behaviour we had with our water pump when the starting capacitor was failing.

    Are you certain the plumber really didn't replace the capacitor?

    It's really easy to do while swapping out a board, and the problem you're having sounds just like it.

    A capacitor is less than €20 and I got ours from domesticpumps.ie in Ballymount.

    The plumber replaced the controller that is on top of the Aqua box, It is a Presflow Vario 230V 50 -60Hz.
