Missed that, must reread a couple of his novels that I have. RIP Mr Amis.

I've not yet read anything by Martin Amis, or his father for that matter.

Is there a novel by either of them you would recommend?

Definitely Lucky Jim by the Kingsley and Money by Martin.

Money, The Information, London Fields are the ones I'd recommend. Lionel Asbo is ok too. I never bothered with his historical or surrealist historical stuff, that stuff doesn't interest me.
