We are currently building an extension on white pebble dashed bungalow. The budget is getting tight. We would live to take pebble dash off and plaster house but don't think this is viable. And will probably wait a year or so.

Has anyone had smooth plaster render and pebble dash on house? Did it look horrendous?

Don't really want to pebble dash extension and then have to take it off next year.

i think pebble dash can look lovely. having the extension as smooth render would separate the new and the existing visually which mightn't be a bad thing. without seeing drawings its hard to really comment
