Keep your eye out for this new film Dead Shot, it's set in the 70,s about an IRA ambush and London bombings. IMDB gives it a mid rating but I think an Irish audience will appreciate it quite a lot more.

I think it's already available to watch somewhere.

I was looking into it recently enough anyway. The wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Shot_(film)

Some very recognisable faces/names. I couldn't believe it when I saw Felicity Jones in the cast.

I hadn't realised Colin Morgan, who played Merlin in the Merlin TV show, was Irish, born in Armagh, until I'd checked the wiki for this.

    Also it has a trailer:

Not sure, I guess I went into the trailer expecting something at the level of '71 at it's most hectic. I might have put too much expectations into that.

    A Sky film too...

Though they are just listed as the distributors.

Re; Felicity Jones - she's married to Charlie Guard, one of the directions.

I watched this. I enjoyed it. It's no In the Name of the Father. But it's good.

I watched another Irish film - The Irish Mob. Some horrible acting in it. But I really liked the film. about the gangland scene in Dublin. Hopefully its a bit over the top in relaying what the gangland scene is like. It's a bit brutal.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)
